Shannon is currently a graduate student in the Mental Health Counseling Program at SUNY Oswego. She has worked with students at Oswego through a variety of departments including New Student Orientation and Residence Life and Housing. Shannon currently serves as a returning Graduate Resident Mentor in Hart Hall. She enjoys being creative, playing various instruments, and singing with the Oswego State Singers. Her continued interest and extensive background in theatre, art, and music led to her choice of Expressive Arts Therapy as a minor in her Undergraduate studies. As a counseling student, she is interested in a variety of theories and often incorporates both Narrative Healing Techniques and Expressive Arts Therapy in her work with clients. She is extremely thankful to be returning to the Counseling Services Center as an intern this year!
