Adopt-A-Grandparent

Adopt-A-Grandparent connects college students with senior adults in the Oswego community. SUNY Oswego students build relationships with residents through a variety of engaging activities during weekly visits to local nursing homes. By listening to music, making crafts, hosting holiday parties, and playing games, students participate in cultural sharing between the generations. Our variety of host sites encourage all students to build connections with their elders, learn from others' life experience, and gain experience of their own.
