A devasting 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked Haiti on January 12, 2010. In its wake, thousands were killed and thousands more have been displaced due to the compromise of stuctural integrity of homes, offices, etc. The situation was compounded by aftershocks, looting and fires caused by broken natural gas lines.
The world reacted with offers to help by providing food, water, needed medical supplies and relief workers. Students, faculty and staff from Oswego joined the cause and raised more than $3,850 with a variety of relief activities. You can see the many who helped.
