Haiti Donations: Who Helped

Throughout the spring 2010 semester, SUNY Oswego held efforts to fundraise and increase awareness for the Haitian Relief Effort, raising $3856.77. Below are some of the ways events and organizations supported the effort. If there are any events we have missed, please let us know at or call 312-5360

  • Student Association fundraiser - Oswego vs Plattsburgh, January 30 - $526.83 - donated to the Red Cross
  • Oswego State Blue Line Club - Oswego vs Plattsburgh, January 30 - 50/50 Raffle - $630 - donated to the Red Cross
  • Hall Newman Community/Newman Club - Newman Center Fundraiser - $650 - donated to Catholic Relief Services
  • Beta Alpha Psi - Three on-campus collections, fundraiser at Aunt Mary's Cafe - $200 - donated to the Matthew 25 House, Port-au-Prince
  • Caribbean Student Association - Door-to-door collections, clothing drives and educational meetings
  • Scales Hall - February 10 door-to-door collection - $300
  • Funnelle Hall - February 10 dinner - $150
  • Beta Alpha Psi - March 11 Pasta Dinner at the Newman Center - $1210 - donations to the Matthew 25 House, Port-au-Prince
  • Donations in the Campus Center Walkway - $189.94 - donated to the Red Cross
