The Office of Communications and Marketing builds awareness among targeted audiences of how the college makes a difference for students and the larger community through education, research, and community service. It coordinates many of the college's internal and external communications, including the upper levels of the website, official college social media accounts, media relations, and the public events calendar, among others. Its communications materials have won awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, APEX, SUNY Council for University Advancement and other professional associations.
The Office of Communications and Marketing provides editorial and developmental oversight for the official oswego.edu website. We can provide training on the site's content-management system and related tools, as well as tips for creating compelling web content.
We also maintain the college's official social media channels (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram) and offer social media guidance for those interested in this arena of communication.

The Guide is designed to assist members of the media in finding authoritative sources for background and commentary on current events or feature stories.
