Walt Disney World internships

SUNY Oswego students have the opportunity to spend a semester in Orlando, Florida, as a full-time, paid intern at Walt Disney World. Students participate in the program during the fall, spring or summer semesters (see the academic requirements below).  The program is for juniors and seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA requirement. 

The Walt Disney World College program provides students with paid opportunities at a variety of locations throughout their resort. Disney internship program participants have the opportunity to advance their strengths and interests, meet guests and cast members from around the world and take part in educational opportunities not available anywhere else. Company-sponsored housing is available to all Walt Disney World College Program students at a reasonable weekly rate. 

SUNY Oswego's guidelines for earning academic internship credit are as follows (Disney does not require students to be registered for credit):

    • Juniors and seniors can earn from 0 to 12 credits
    • A minimum 2.5 overall GPA is required
    • It is the student's responsibility to ensure that they meet SUNY Oswego's internship requirements and can receive academic credit before accepting an offer from Disney or paying a program deposit.
    • International students should see their International Student advisor before applying for any Disney College Program internship.

            Have you already been a Disney intern? 

            Check out the Disney College Program Alumni Community! The Disney College Program Alumni Community will be open to all who successfully completed the program. If you are interested, visit www.dcpalumni.com. As a member, students will be able to:

            Disney Professional Internships:

            Students also have the opportunity to apply to Disney’s Professional Internship program. This program has professional internship opportunities available relevant to a student’s major. SUNY Oswego students applying and accepting an opportunity to this program can also consider this a Co-op.  Opportunities are available for national and international. Students are paid. Housing is limited.
