Admissions OfficeThe Office of Admissions is looking for volunteers to give tours, call Admitted Students and help at the Spring Admitted Student Days in April!
Admissions Office (Overnight Host Program)The Office of Admissions is looking for volunteers to host admitted students overnight. They can even earn community service hours!
Alumni & DevelopmentThe Office of Alumni and Parent Relations is seeking interns to assist in the operation of several programs in the office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain professional experience in public relations, interpersonal communication, time and organizational management, and working with a variety of computer programs. These positions will also allow opportunity to meet alumni of the institution and give insight into the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations.

These internships are non-paid, credit bearing, and require participation in an internship course. The average hours of work are 8 per week, generally between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm but will include evening and weekend obligations.
Campus RecreationMany paid positions and opportunities exist for students to work in Campus Recreation. A variety of part-time employment positions are available for responsible, reliable, and conscientious students. Both work study and temporary service candidates are welcome to apply. Intramurals rely on our enthusiastic student staff to contribute to the success of the program and assist in all aspects of the events.

Campus Technology Services (CTS)Campus Technology Services is responsible for supporting our campus' technology needs. We are in charge of everything from the wireless network in the dormitories to the Advanced Technology Classrooms in each academic building.

Career Services at the CompassCompass Navigator Internship: Navigator Interns work with professional staff members and fellow interns to create a welcoming learning environment conducive to success in the Resource Center at the Compass. Navigators must familiarize themselves with all that the Compass has to offer, in order to assist students in being actively engaged in their co-curricular experience throughout their career at SUNY Oswego. Navigators will act as a resource to students for major and career exploration, experiential learning, job and graduate school searches, resume and cover letter critiques.

Marketing & Public Relations Internship: The Career Services Marketing and PR Interns are responsible for publicizing the services, programs, events and resources for the office. This internship is an on-campus opportunity to enhance skills and gain experience in public speaking, computer applications, graphic design, media relations, event management, and employer relations.

Digital Dirt: The Digital Dirt Squad works with students to not only clean up their online presence, but teaches students how to leverage their presence to their benefit. Knowing how an employer will search for you online - and how to position your information so it tells the story YOU want is a skill you should develop.

Event Management OfficeAt the Event Management Office, we are dedicated to providing a variety of services to student organizations, administrative offices, and academic departments including facility reservations, event planning assistance, audio visual and other event support.

Office of Learning ServicesThe Office of Learning Services works with the SUNY Oswego community to supplement students' classroom learning and assist them in becoming independent learners. Desk attendants are needed at both the tutoring center, located at 174MCC and the writing center, 112c Penfield Library.
Residence Life & HousingResidence Life and Housing provides a premier living experience for students living on-campus. We are looking for Student Operations Services Staff, Summer RA's, and Summer SOS Staff as well as Resident Student Staff.

Rice Creek Field StationRice Creek Field Station is located one mile south of campus on Thompson Road; which the Green Shuttle offers transportation when classes are in session. The grounds surrounding the station include an herb garden and 300 acres of fields, forests, ponds and streams that are used all year-round for ecological research. In addition to academic offerings, public programs in nature education are offered free to the local community. Four nature trails, open to the public, provide opportunities for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The building and surrounding grounds are maintained by a groundskeeper, along with the help of student employment and volunteers.
Student Employment/Federal Work StudyThe Student Employment Office offers Federal Work Study job opportunities to those who qualify. This office offers referral services to other students seeking employment on campus. We also work with on and off campus departments and agencies seeking student employees.
