City of Fulton Police Department The City of Fulton Police Department consists of 35 sworn police officers. We serve the community of the City of Fulton which consists of approximately 12,000 residents. It is anticipated that an entry level police officer exam will be given in the late fall or early winter of 2017 with the expectation of hiring several new officers from that eligible list.
CNY Central (NBC3, CBS5, CW6) Based in Syracuse, we are a television-social media operation that covers Central New York. We have NBC, CBS & CW network affiliations, as well as entertainment channels. We generate over 60 hours of news weekly, with an emphasis on local/regional coverage.

Cradle Beach Cradle Beach Project S.O.A.R. Elmcrest Children’s Center Elmcrest Children's Center is still in the business of providing for children and families. It provides a multi-service residential treatment and education center for children with emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric disturbances; a respite program for children with developmental disabilities and serious medical conditions; and an early education center and Universal Pre-K (UPK) program. Together with their families, over 2,500 individuals are served yearly in more than 20 different programs. At any given time, Elmcrest is home to 130 youngsters, with another 150 preschoolers being served in its early education facility. In addition, another 80 families at risk of having their children removed from the home receive supportive services, counseling, education and training.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car Regardless of college major or professional experience, nearly 100% of our full-time employees start out in our Management Training Program. This allows everyone to learn our business from the ground up and understand how they play a significant role in seeing it succeed.

NYS Department of Taxation & Finance The NYS Department of Taxation & Finance offers challenging careers in the field of professional auditing at ten locations within NYS and in Chicago, Il. We recruit accounting majors for Tax Auditor Trainee positions. Appointees participate in a comprehensive two-year traineeship during which classroom and on-the-job training is provided in such areas as tax law, rules and regulations, as well as automated accounting systems, departmental audit policies, guidelines, and procedures. In addition to day-to-day supervisory guidance, Trainees receive formal written evaluations of their performance at regular intervals.
Duties: Tax Auditors perform field audits of the financial records of taxpayers to verify that business and individuals are in compliance with the tax law, rules and regulations of the State of New York. They are assigned to one of the Department's ten district offices and are required to travel extensively in the performance of their duties, including overnight travel. Such factors as tax specialty assignment, e.g. sales tax, personal income tax, corporation franchise tax, etc., and district office assignment will determine the extent of the overnight travel. Generally, it could involve up to 50% of their time.

Oswego County AmeriCorps Oswego AmeriCorps serves youth in the county by providing fitness activities, nutrition education, managing youth volunteers, and providing homeless housing services to economically disadvantaged individuals/families. These positions are often located within schools, libraries, recreation programs, and human service agencies such as Catholic Charities, Oswego County Opportunities, and the County of Oswego Department of Social Services.

AmeriCorps members receive a modest living allowance. After completing a term of service, they receive an education award that can be used to pay off student loans and/or finance college, graduate school or vocational training. Members can receive deferment on qualified student loans for their term of service. When the service commitment is completed, all or some of the interest accrued on deferred loans will be paid by the National Service Trust.

Our 900 hour members serve for six to twelve months; receive a living allowance of $6,627 and an education award of $2,907.50. Our 300 hours members serve for a shorter time period and receive a living allowance of $2,208. Their education award is $1,230.69.

Beyond these benefits, AmeriCorps members know the satisfaction of building a community and helping our nation be everything it should be. Minimum requirements for AmeriCorps applicants are that individuals must be at least 17 years old and have a high school diploma/equivalent or be in the process of working on either. There is no upper age limit.

Volunteer or work experience with the public/children is a beneficial. Some college course work may be preferred depending on the location of the position.

Young Life Young Life is a non-profit Christian outreach to high school teens within a community. It creates positive alternatives for teens to talk about life and have fun in healthy ways. Leaders build relationships with teens by spending time with them and getting to know who they are. Over time they earn the right to talk with teens about the struggles in their lives. We teach them the basics of the Christian faith and how God can be an important part of their lives.
