Update
In light of SUNY Oswego President’s announcement on April 10, 2020, that all summer session courses for 2020 will be offered through online or via distance education formats, any OVERNIGHT camp or conference scheduled at SUNY Oswego will be canceled and those programs are encouraged to transition to an online/distance education platform.

As of today, we are still planning to move forward with hosting our summer youth day programs and activities. Should our course of direction change given the developing public health situation and we need to cancel summer youth day programs and activities I will notify you as soon as possible.

As a reminder, given our Child Protection Policy you will need to register your youth programs and/or activities prior to the start of the program. Please register your event

As you begin creating promotional materials for your summer youth programs and/or activities, we ask that you please include the following disclaimer to your materials:
"SUNY Oswego along with the NY State Department of Health has been carefully tracking the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently summer youth day programs, activities and camps scheduled at SUNY Oswego after June 1st  will begin as planned. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SUNY Oswego reserves the right to restrict and/or cancel any and all summer youth day programs, activities and camps scheduled during the summer based on updated guidance from New York State, SUNY and/or SUNY Oswego Officials. Any minors who participate in summer youth day programs, activities or camps that exhibit flu- like symptoms will not be allowed to participate in the program. "

Please note that if you are looking to move your summer youth day programs and/or activities to an online/distance learning platform, there will be additional Child Protection procedures that those programs will be required to adhere to. If this is something you are considering, please email me at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the program and/or activity and I will share those materials with you.

In the days and weeks ahead, please do your best to stay safe and healthy. - Department of Campus Life
