Women In Business

Mission

The mission of the Women in Business club at SUNY Oswego is to emphasize the importance of women in business. This is achieved through helping women to acquire professional skills and encouraging them to take on challenging roles in the business world. The objectives of the club include mentorship, leadership, community, and opportunity.

Typically women don’t feel as though they have the ability to compete with men in the workplace and other organizations. This club seeks to empower women to see that they have the same potential as men. This is done through instilling confidence in women’s professional skills. By participating in this club’s activities, both men and women will realize their full potential in any situation regardless of gender.
