Heather Losi received her MBA degree from American Intercontinental University (AIU) in Illinois, and her BS from SUNY Plattsburgh.  Appointed in 2014, Ms. Losi teaches principles of accounting courses.  She is a Certified Public Accountant with 17 years of experience in public and private accounting.  She was owner and partner from 2001 to 2013 of Losi & Ranger CPA's PLLC. Before that, she was a Senior Audit Accountant at Testone, Marshall & Discenza for two years, and a Staff Audit Accountant at Whalen, Davey & Looney for three years.  Ms. Losi is an active member of NYSSCPA and a member of AICPA.  Her research interest is the use and application of web based technology in the accounting profession.
