What activities are you involved with at Oswego?
I am Vice President of the Bowling Club on campus.

Why did you choose Oswego?
It is my Dad's and Sister's alma matar.  Besides that, it has an amazing education program focused on hands on learning.

What is the best thing about your major?
Working with others who are passionate about education.  As well as the amazing hands on experiences that we receive within the program.

Generally speaking, what impact has the Oswego faculty had on you?
The staff does a wonderful job of engaging with the students about the subject and connecting with the students on a personal level.

Who's your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Richard T. Weyhing.  He is very engaging and he has an enormous passion for History.

Describe your department's atmosphere and how it has enhanced your ability to learn.
I am in two different departments.  The History department is filled with people who have a great desire to learn.  The education department centers on the calibration and community which leads a great amount of learning.

What's the best thing about SUNY Oswego?
The people are very friendly and everyone goes out of the way to see how you are.  Oswego also has a beautiful campus.   Comment on how your Oswego experience has helped prepare you for a career. I have been able to get into classrooms so I see a more realistic understanding of what it means to teach.

What opportunities has Oswego given you that you never had before?
To meet people from different countries and different regions.  The school also gives me the ability to see things from a different perspective.
