Sanan Abderrahman: Sanan joins the department of Mathematics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. & M.S. in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Binghamton and a M.B.A. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Mathematics from Texas Women's University. Sanan’s most recent position was Physics Professor and Chair of the STEM Division at El Centro College. 

Jamie Alexander: Jamie joins the department of Human Development as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, a M.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from North Carolina State University and a Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Science from Oklahoma State University. Jamie’s most recent position was as an Adjunct Instructor at Oklahoma State University. 

Allen Andersen: Allen joins the department of Atmospheric and Geological Sciences as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Northwest Missouri State University and a M.Sc. & Ph.D. in Geology from Washington State University. Allen’s most recent position was as an Adjunct Instructor at Washington State University. 

Ward Andres: Ward joined Campus Technology Services in September 2015 as an Instructional Support Professional. He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Ward’s most recent position was as a Computer Aide in the Oswego City School District. 

Lakeisha Armstrong: Lakeisha joins the Educational Opportunity Program office as an Academic Planning Counselor. She holds a M.A. in Sociology from Siena College and a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. Lakeisha’s most recent position was as an EOP Counselor at Morrisville State College. 

Yulia Artemenko: Yulia joins the department of Biological Sciences as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.Sc. & Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa. Yulia’s most recent position was as a Research Associate at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. 

Nermine Atteya: Nermine joins the department of Marketing & Management as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Management/Political Science from Cairo University and a M.A. in Public Administration/HR from the American University in Cairo. Nermine’s most recent position was as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Oswego. 

Matthew Baker: Matthew joins the department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Alfred University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University. Matthew’s most recent position was as an Assistant Professor at Westminster College. 

Timothy Berge: Timothy joins Penfield Library as a Reference/ Instruction/Collection Development Librarian. He holds a B.A. in English from the University of Idaho and a M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University. Timothy’s most recent position was as an Assistant Librarian at Indiana University. 

Gary Bolduc: Gary joins the office of Learning Support Services as the Director of Mathematics Learning Success Center. Gary holds a B.S. & M.S. in Mathematics from SUNY Buffalo.

Pamela Brannock: Pamela joins the department of Biological Sciences as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Marine Biology from Roger Williams University and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Pamela’s most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Auburn University.

Isiah Brown: Isiah joins the department of Marketing & Management as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.B.A. in Business Administration Management and a M.P.A. in Public Administration Management from Savannah State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration Leadership from Florida A&M University. Isiah’s most recent position was Director of Assurance of Learning and Assessment and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Houston-Downtown.

Mya Brown: Mya joins the department of Theatre as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.F.A. in Theatre/Acting from Jacksonville University and a M.F.A. in Theatre/Acting from West Virginia University. Mya’s most recent position was as a Visiting Instructor at West Virginia University. 

Thomas Brown: Thomas joins the department of Chemistry as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Thomas holds a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in French from the University of California – Davis and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Pranay Chapagain: Pranay joined the office of Business and Community Relations in January as a Programmer Analyst. He holds a M.A. in Human-Computer Interaction from SUNY Oswego and a B. Eng. in Electronics and Communication from Pokhara University, Nepal. Pranay’s most recent position was as a Student Assistant at SUNY Oswego. 

Peter Chiappetta: Peter joins the department of Accounting, Finance & Law as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Providence College and a M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University. Peter’s most recent position was as an Instructor at UAB Collat School of Business. 

Victoria Chiu: Victoria joins the department of Accounting, Finance & Law as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from the National Changhua University of Education and a Ph.D. in Accounting from Rutgers University. Victoria’s most recent position was as an Assistant Professor at SUNY New Paltz. 

Jessica Cook: Jessica joins the department of Physics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Emory University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Jessica’s most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Arizona State University. 

Rose Marie Crisalli: Rose Marie joins the department of Communication Studies as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Buying and Merchandising from The America College, Lucerne, Switzerland and a M.S. in Education from SUNY Oswego. Rose Marie’s most recent position was as an Adjunct Professor at Cazenovia College. 

Edward Cruz: Edward joined the department of Residence Life & Housing in June as a Community Development Specialist. He holds a B.A. in Performance and Communication Arts and a M.Ed. in Counseling and Development from St. Lawrence University. Edward’s most recent position was as a Residence Hall Director at SUNY Old Westbury. 

Erin Dorsey: Erin joined the office of Business and Community Relations in May as a Project Coordinator. She holds a B.A. in English from Iona College. Erin’s most recent position was as a Patient Access Representative at Oswego Health.

Jason Duffy: Jason joins the department of Counseling and Psychological Services as an Assistant Professor. He holds a M.A. in Liberal Studies from Nazareth College, a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education from the University of Rochester. Jason’s most recent position was as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Syracuse University. 

Marcus D'Urso: Marcus joined the Field Placement Office in March as Assistant Coordinator. He holds a B.S. in Childhood Education from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from SUNY Albany. Marcus’s most recent position was as a 5th Grade Teacher in the Rochester City School District. 

John Familo: John joins the department of Campus Technology Services as a Programmer Analyst. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from SUNY Oswego. John’s most recent position was as a LAN Technician at Oswego High School. 

Melissa Familo: Melissa joins the office of Human Resources as a Human Resources Assistant. She holds an A.S. from Cayuga Community College and a B.S. in Human Resources from SUNY Oswego. Melissa’s most recent position was as a Human Resources Assistant Intern. 

Michael Frawley: Michael joins the department of Intercollegiate Athletics as Head Athletic Trainer. He holds an A.S. in Liberal Arts from Corning Community College, a B.S. in Physical Education from Bridgewater State College, and a M.S. in Education / Athletic Training from Old Dominion University. Michael’s most recent position was as Assistant Athletic Trainer at The College of Saint Rose. 

Joanna Goplen: Joanna joins the department of Psychology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Social Science Education from the University of South Florida and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from Florida State University. Joanna’s most recent position was as an Adjunct Instructor at SUNY Oswego. 

Brian Gordinier: Brian joins the department of Residence Life & Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Hart Hall. He holds a B.A. in Psychology, History, Philosphy & Religion and a M.S. in General Management from Elmira College. Brian’s most recent position was as a Residence Hall Director at SUNY Cortland. 

Kimberly Graziano: Kimberly joins the Purchasing Office as Assistant Purchase Associate. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration / Human Resources from Columbia College and an A.A.S. in Business Administration from Onondaga Community College. Kimberly’s most recent position was as Senior Contract Administrator at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

Tracey Green: Tracey joined the Registrar's Office in October 2015 as Associate Registrar. She holds an A.A.S. in Business Administration from Onondaga Community College and a B.A. in Psychology from Columbia College. Tracey’s most recent position was Registrar at Onondaga Community College. 

Jinyan Guo: Jinyan joins the department of Biological Sciences as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Horticulture from China Agricultural University, a M.S. in Cell Biology from The Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Ph.D. in Botany from Claremont Graduate University. Jinyan’s most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Brigham Young University. 

Shokouh Haddadi: Shokouh joins the department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Azad University, a M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from Tabriz University and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Waterloo. Shokouh’s most recent position was as a Visiting Assistant Professor at SUNY Oswego. 

Susan Hammerly: Susan joins the department of Biological Sciences as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Biology & Wildlife Management from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of North Texas. Susan’s most recent position was as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Saint Joseph. 

Sarah Hanusch: Sarah joins the department of Mathematics as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from St. Edward's University, a M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Texas State University. Sarah’s most recent position was as a lecturer at Texas State University and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Austin Community College. 

Charlene Harris: Charlene joins the department of Human Development as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Berea College, a M.S.W. in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. in Family Science from the University of Kentucky. Charlene’s most recent position was as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Miami University-Ohio. 

Laura Harris: Laura joined Penfield Library in January as an Online Learning Librarian. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Grinnell College and a M.S.I. in Library & Information Services from the University of Michigan. Laura’s most recent position was as a Community Specialist & Trainer at Springshare, LLC. 

Brian Hough: Brian joins the department of Atmospheric and Geological Sciences as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Geology from Old Dominion University, a M.S. in Geology from Idaho State University and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Rochester. Brian’s most recent position was as a lecturer at Wells College. 

Sien Hu: Sien joins the department of Psychology as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. Sien’s most recent position was as Associate Research Scientist at Yale University and Visiting Assistant Professor at Trinity College. 

Jason Hy: Jason joined the office of Extended Learning in May as Academic Videographer. He holds a B.S. in Broadcasting from Buffalo State College. Jason’s most recent position was as a Videojournalist at Time Warner Cable News. 

Austin Joseph: Austin joined the office of International Education in May as International Enrollment Management Specialist. Austin holds a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego. 

Julia Koeppe: Julia joins the department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Hope College and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. Julia’s most recent position was as an Assistant Professor at Ursinus College. 

Sungeun Kim: Sungeun joins the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.E. and M.E. in Electronics Engineering from Korea University and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Sungeun’s most recent position was as an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. 

Laura Lamb: Laura joins the department of Accounting, Finance & Law as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds an A.A.S. in Office Technology: Administrative Assistant from Onondaga Community College and a B.S. and M.B.A. in Accounting from SUNY Oswego. Laura’s most recent position was as Senior Accountant at Bonadio & Co, LLP and Adjunct Faculty at SUNY Oswego. 

Laura Lewin: Laura joins the department of Communication Studies as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds an A.A.S. in Radio/TV Broadcasting from Herkimer College, a B.A. in Mass Communications from SUNY Plattsburgh, a M.A. in Liberal Studies from SUNY Stony Brook and an M.A. in Communication from Marist College. Laura’s most recent position was as Career Counselor and Chief Operator of WITC at Cazenovia College. 

Tamara Lipke: Tamara joins the department of Educational Administration as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in History from Wittenberg University, a M.A. in International Relations from Syracuse University and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester. Tamara’s most recent position was as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction at Frontier Central School District. 

Ryan Lynn: Ryan joins the office of Extended Learning as a Student Resources Advisor. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo and a M.S. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State College. Ryan’s most recent position was as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at St. Bonaventure University. 

Allison Macey: Allison joined the office of Admissions in September 2015 as an Admissions Counselor. She holds a B.S. in Childhood Education from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. Ed. in Literacy Education from SUNY Oswego. Allison’s most recent position was as a Subsitute Teacher in Baldwinsville Central School District. 

Melissa Maldonado: Melissa joined the office of Development and Alumni Relations in June as Associate Director of Finance. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration Marketing from LeMoyne College and a M.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University. Melissa’s most recent position was as Controller at Cazenovia College. 

Lindsay McCluskey: Lindsay joins the department of Communication Studies as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Communication/Journalism and Political Science from St. John Fisher College, a M.A. in Public Relations from Newhouse School at Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Manship School at Louisiana State University. Lindsay’s most recent position was as an Instructor at Louisiana State University. 

Nikita Miasnikov: Nikita joins the department of Mathematics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A., M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from CCNY. Nikita’s most recent position was as a Visiting Professor at CCSU. 

Jason Mirisoloff: Jason joins the office of Facilities Services as Facilities Program Coordinator. He holds a B.S. in Operations Management from SUNY ESC. Jason’s most recent position was in Research & Development/Facilities at Welch Allyn. 

Sandra Montalvo: Sandra joins the office of Admissions as a Start Now Coordinator and Admissions Counselor. She holds a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY Buffalo State. Sandra’s most recent position was as an Admissions Assistant at SUNY Buffalo State. 

Nicole Morse: Nicole joined the office of Campus Life in June as a Student Involvement Advisor. She holds a B.G.S. in Social Services from the University of Connecticut and a M.A. in Counseling-College Student Personnel from the University of Bridgeport. Nicole’s most recent position was as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Bridgeport. 

Lauren Murphy: Lauren joined the department of Residence Life & Housing in June as a Community Development Specialist. She holds a B.A. in History and English from the University of Nottingham and a M.A. in History and English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Lauren’s most recent position was as a Resident Director at Binghamton University. 

Elizabeth Occhino: Elizabeth joined the office of Extended Learning in May as a High School Programs Coordinator. She holds a B.S. in Human Movement from Temple University and a M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Syracuse University. Elizabeth’s most recent position was Events and Volunteer Coordinator for the Food Bank of CNY. 

Alanna Ossa: Alanna joins the department of Anthropology as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Chicago and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology from Arizona State University. Alanna’s most recent position was as Senior Project Manager, Analyst and Lab Manager at Archaeological Consulting Services, Ltd.

Budhinath Padhy: Budhinath joins the department of Mathematics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Berhampur University, a M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Ph.D. in Statistics from South Dakota State University. Budhinath’s most recent position was as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Hartford. 

Mihai Paraschiv: Mihai joins the department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Statistics from Bucharest University of Economics, a M.A. in Economics from Central Michigan University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Kentucky. Mihai’s most recent position was as an Instructor of Record at the University of Kentucky

Jordan Perry: Jordan joins the office of Admissions as an Admissions Counselor. She holds a B.A. in Communication and Social Interaction from SUNY Oswego. Jordan’s most recent position was as a Graduate Assistant at SUNY Oswego.

Sara Prigodich: Sara joins the department of Art as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.F.A. in Ceramics from the University of Hartford and a M.F.A. in Ceramics from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Sara’s most recent position was as a Digital Fabrication Lab Technician at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. 

Stephenie Przepiora: Stephenie joins the department of Residence Life & Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Mackin Hall. She holds a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from SUNY Oswego and a M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennslyvania. Stephenie’s most recent position was as a Graduate Resident Director at the University of Pittsburgh, Greensburg. 

Gopi Reddy: Gopi joined the ADWISR Center in February as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. Gopi holds a B. Eng. in Electronics and Communication from RGPV Technical University, India, a M.S. in RF and Microwave Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, India and a Ph.D. in Communications: RF and Microwave Antenna Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, India. 

Patrice Robinson: Patrice joins the office of Extended Learning as Marketing Manager. She holds a B.A. in Economics/Business Administration from LeMoyne College. Patrice’s most recent position was Director of Marketing & Development at Child Care Solutions. 

Daisy Ruiz: Daisy joined the office of Business and Community Relations in December 2015 as an Assistant Project Manager. She holds an A.A.S. in Criminal Justice from Cayuga Community College and a B.S. in Public Justice from SUNY Oswego. Daisy’s most recent position was as a Customer Service Representative at Pathfinder Bank.

Jonathan Russo: Jonathan joins the office of Facilities Services as a Project Coordinator. Jonathan holds a B.S. in Technology Education from SUNY Oswego. 

Mamta Saxena: Mamta joins the department of Human Development as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Home Science and a M.S. in Child Development from the University of Delhi and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. Mamta’s most recent position was as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut.

Travell Scales: Travell joins the Educational Opportunity Program office as an Academic Planning Counselor. He holds an A.A. in General Studies from Erie Community College, a B.S.W. in Social Work and a M.S. in Higher Education from Buffalo State College. Travell’s most recent position was Lead Case Manager at Health Sciences Charter School. 

Ghanshyam Sharma: Ghanshyam joins the department of Economics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Delhi and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Clemson University. Ghanshyam’s most recent position was as a Ph.D. Candidate at Clemson University.

Scott Sheehan: Scott joins the department of Residence Life & Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Riggs Hall. He holds a B.A. in History and Political Science and a M.S. in Student Affairs and Higher Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. Scott’s most recent position was as a Residence Hall Director at SUNY Plattsburgh. 

Andrew Smith: Andrew joined the department of Campus Technology Services in March as a Network Technician. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.S. in Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University. Andrew’s most recent position was as Signal Corps Warrant Officer with the New York Army National Guard. 

Ashlee Smith: Ashlee joined the department of Biological Sciences in September 2015 as an Instructional Support Technician. She holds an A.S. in Math and Science from Cayuga Community College, a B.S. in Biochemistry and a M.S. in Chemistry from SUNY Oswego. Ashlee’s most recent position was as a Graduate Assistant at SUNY Oswego.

Marissa Specioso: Marissa joined the office of Facilities Services in May as a Graphic Designer. She holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from SUNY Oswego. Marissa’s most recent position was as a Graphic Designer for Auxiliary Services and the Art Department at SUNY Oswego. 

Randall Stetson: Randall joins the department of Human Development as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from SUNY Oswego, a M.S.W. in Social Work from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from SUNY Albany. Randall’s most recent position was Director of Bienestar Bilingual Counseling Center, LLC. 

Laina Stupp: Laina joined the Mary Walker Health Center in December 2015 as Nurse Practitioner. She holds an A.A.S. in Nursing from Cayuga Community College, a B.S. in Nursing from Keuka College and a F.N.P. in Nursing from Upstate Medical Center. Laina’s most recent position was as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at St. Joseph's Health Care System. 

Gilian Tenbergen: Gilian joins the department of Psychology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience; Psychopathology from Maastricht University, Netherlands. Gilian’s most recent position was as Research Associate at Hannover Medical School. 

Katherine Thweatt: Katherine joins the department of Communication Studies as an Associate Professor. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, a M.A. in Communication Studies from West Virginia University and an Ed.D. in Instructional Communication from West Virginia University. Katherine’s most recent position was as an Assistant Professor at SUNY New Paltz. 

Joey Tse: Joey joins the Educational Opportunity Program office as their Director. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, San Diego and a M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Joey’s most recent position was Assistant Director of Student Administrative Services at Syracuse University. 

Sarah Weisman: Sarah joins Penfield Library as Director. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College of Columbia University and a M.L.S. in Library Science and a Masters in Information Resources Management from Syracuse University. Sarah’s most recent position was Associate Dean of Learning Resources at Corning Community College. 

Wayne Westervelt: Wayne joins the office of Communications & Marketing as Chief Communication Officer. He holds a B.A. in English/Communications from LeMoyne College and a M.A. in Public Administration from Maxwell School of Public Affairs, Syracuse University. Wayne’s most recent position was as Director of Communications and Media for the Institute for Veteran and Military Families at Syracuse University.

Nicole Wise: Nicole joined the School of Education Dean’s Office in November 2015 as Data Manager for Assessment. She holds a B.S. in Business from Capella University and a M.S. in Education from SUNY Potsdam. Nicole’s most recent position was as Administrative Director of Clinical Education at Clarkson University. 

Katherine Wolfe-Lyga: Katherine joined the Counseling Services Center in January as Director. She holds a B.A. in Public Justice from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. in Community Counseling from Syracuse University. Katherine’s most recent position was as Clinical Supervisor at ARISE Child and Family Services. 

Hui Zhang: Hui joins the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Hui’s most recent position was as Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer at Eaton Crouse-Hinds.
