Donald Griffin was born on the third of August in 1915 and died recently 
on
November seventh, 2003. Throughout hid life, Griffin tought zoology at
various univerities throughout the country.

Griffin studied the navagational method of bats in 1938 and argued the 
idea of
animal consciousness. A few of his works include "Animal Thinking" and 
"Question of Animal Awarness" in which his idea of animal consciousness is
argued.
