Robert P. Abelson Abelson has spent his career at Yale, where he has combined his interest in mathematical posychology by focusing on phenomena such as attitude change. He developed an early interest in the use of computers to stimulate both cognitive and social processes. He is best known in cognitive science for his work with Roger Schank on computational models of story comprehension. His most recent book is "Statistics as principled argument"(1995).
