Paul has been active with the Cub Scout Program since 1992. Paul is currently the Webelos Den Leader for Pack 809 in Oswego NY. He tries to use a modified patrol method whenever possible (modified to be more geared towards Webelos age boys), and tries to take the boys out camping at least once every other month no matter what the weather is like. Paul's oldest son transitioned from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts in February of 1997, and his youngest son is scheduled to transition into Boy Scout Troop 888 in Oswego, NY in February 2002. At that time Paul is planning on retiring from the pack leadership (for at least a little while)
Paul's cub scout activities do not stop with the pack activities. Paul is also an instructor for Webelos Activity Weekend (a council sponsored event which is similar to Camp-O-Ree except that it is geared exclusively towards Webelos Scouts), An instructor for Cub Scout Leader Training, A member of the Cub Scout Camp Promotion and Program comittees, and a staff member for Webelos resident camp during the summer.
