How to construct a histogram
t-test
for a population mean
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvCtNSdymwM
Minitab is used to
obtain results for a hypothesis test for a mean (with population standard
deviation “sigma” unknown) using the t-test. Start watching at about 2:28. (It
might help also to watch the first 13 seconds.) The method described in the
first 2.5 minutes is not the one we
use.

Minitab can be used
even when you are not given the data –most of the problems in the book – and
are only given the sample size, sample mean and sample standard deviation. This
makes it possible for you to obtain P-values
for any test.
