Sarah's Home

Hello! My name is Sarah. I grew up in Schodack, New York which is about twenty minutes outside of Albany. I have always lived with my parents and one younger sister. My sister, Kristen, and I are four years apart. We have had a few pets in my family. When I was younger my Dad had a cat named Sam. After Sam passed away we got our dog Luther. Luther is half Doberman Pincer and half Border Collie and is sixteen years old. When I was in middle school I had a hamster named Zed; Luther always tried to eat him. Every summer since I’ve been born my family has gone to Ticonderoga, New York which is at the North end of Lake George. My dad really enjoys learning about the history of the area. I’ve been told many stories over the years and have learned a lot about the history of the area. I have been to Fort Ticonderoga so many times I know it like the back of my hand. However, it is not the history but the lake that is my favorite aspect of the area. When I was younger I would spend the entire day in the water playing games, snorkeling, floating around, or jumping off the dock. My family owns a boat so we got tubing, water skiing, and wakeboarding. I first learned to water ski when I was eight years old and later learned to slalom ski. It is by far my favorite thing to do in the entire world.

I am currently a junior at SUNY Oswego working on a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. I currently live on campus and absolutely hate it. I CANNOT WAIT to move off campus next year. I hope to graduate in December 2009 and continue on at SUNY Oswego to earn my masters degree in Graphic Design.

Fun Facts:

My favorite color is blue. My favorite season is summer. I love being at Lake George. I just bought four little fish for my boyfriend, Nick’s, fish tank! Two are silver dollars and two are albinos. Their names are Nicedemous, Little Foot, Custard, and Cornwallis. Unfortunately, Little Foot died on Tuesday, February 19th (R.I.P.). I replaced Little Foot with another silver dollar named Humperdink. We also got two new fish named Sirius Black and Ron Weasly.
