NYC Housing Information for Student Teachers:
Most SUNY Oswego student teachers live with family and/or friends while in NYC.
SUTEC makes arrangements with university housing agengies and other residential offices in NYC, for a limited number of spaces.
In the end, the cost is comparable to what a room on campus would cost after you receive the housing subsidy.

Once you have been accepted to student teach in NYC, you will receive information about orientation and other professional seminars hosted by SUTEC.
These seminars will provide you with an opportunity to meet other SUNY students who are teaching in NYC, and share ideas and experiences with them.
