Dr. Jack Narayan has served as project director on several national and state grants for Mathematics Reform to enhance student's learning and facilitate faculty, course and curriculum development. He is currently teaching a large section of Finite Mathematics and Applied Calculus for students in the Business Administration Program. This is a required course in which students are required to use Excel on their laptop computers.He is interested in what mathematics should be taught, how it is taught, and how it should be assessed. He is involved in programs to increase the participation of students from underrepresented groups in mathematics and science. Dr. Narayan has been on the faculty at Oswego since 1970.
