Dr. Jack Narayan has served as project director on several national and state grants for Mathematics Reform to enhance student's learning and facilitate faculty, course and curriculum development. He is currently New York State Regional Coordinator of the NSF funded project to Prepare Mathematicians to Educate Teachers. He is interested in what mathematics should be taught, how it is taught, and how it should be assessed. He is involved in several programs to increase the participation of students from underrepresented groups in mathematics and Areas of Research and Scholarly Activity. Dr. Narayan has been on the faculty at Oswego since 1970. |
