When I was younger, I always got in trouble for letting the cat out of the house. I swear it was never my fault! I would just open the door and out she went! My mom would get so mad and then I'd have to spend the next hour with my mom trying to get her back in the house, all the while, listening to my mom go on and on about how "If this happens one more time.....". She never did finish that thought, but I honestly didn't want to know what would happen, so that was fine by me! Well, one day I got a note from my teacher because I was being disruptive in class. I was freaking out! When I got home, my mom had left me a note saying she would be home shortly. So I figured I'd play outside while I had the chance until my mom got home and grounded me for getting a note from my teacher. I opened the back door to go out... and there goes the cat!! Not only that, she ran up a tree! How am I supposed to get her out of the tree! Then I hear my mom honking as she pulls up in our driveway. So there I am, with a note from my teacher, the cat in the tree, my mom in the driveway, and the words, "If this happens one more time...." replaying in my head. I stood there staring up at the tree where my cat is and imagining myself just being able to get up there, grab her, and run in the house before my mom got in there! All of a sudden, I was in the tree right next to Trixie, my cat. I had NO idea what just happened, but I grabbed Trixie and was in my house in no time at all! I was so confused! Well, I obviously had to try to do that again and when I tried to do it again, it worked! I could actually teleport myself! Wierd, huh?! I thought so, but let me tell you it was pretty handy! In college, I was never late for a class no matter how late I woke up that day! I quite literally rolled out of bed sometimes. Well, this newfound power not only helped with my tardiness issue, but also helped me meet my husband, the love of my life. This is one of my all time favorite stories, so forgive me if I drag on! I was walking along the riverbank one day on this gorgeous, sunny day. I looked over and I saw this person gliding through the air along the bridge. I thought I was seeing things! He was shooting this thing out of what seemed to be his arms, and then swinging through the air. All of a sudden he went to shoot again and nothing came out! I teleported myself to where he was, caught him, and teleported back to the riverbank. It was Spiderman. He thanked me profusely and said he had to take me out that night to thank me. We had a picnic on this beautiful web he set up on a beach nearby. We watched the stars, talked the night away... it was the most romantic night of my life. We got married soon after that and we just have the time of our lives together. We're talking about kids, but unlike usual parents-to-be, our main concern is whether or not this baby is going to be a teleporting spiderbaby! Haha! Anyway, I love my life and can't imagine where I'd be if I had never discovered this super power of mine.
