Course Objectives

  • Demonstrate ability in the use of basic concepts to accomplish drawings that acknowledge three-dimensional understanding of the space on a two-dimensional surface.
  • Review of the elements and principles of design, composition, and value.
  • Experiment with diverse drawing media as modes to develop self-expression and conceptual investigation.
  • Utilize appropriate vocabulary in the analysis and criticism of drawings produced in the studio.
