Willhelm Wundt was born on August 16th, 1832 to a Lutheran pastor. During his early years he was a studious boy who roomed with, and was tutored by, his father's assistant, the vicar of the church.

Willhelm Wundt is considered to be, along with William James, the father of pychology. He created the first laboratory in the world dedicated to experimental psychology.
