It's time to start the
hockey game. I am on the ice, but I'm not ready yet. I need to stretch and warm up still. "Wait Coach, you have to
tell me what we are doing!" He didn't tell me
how to play, where to play, and who I'm
going to play with. I look towards the goal. It's in place, but the boards behind it don't
exist yet. I put my
hockey bag in place along with many, many stacks of books to form the boards. I'm at mom's now,
with a friend. There are
two British men with us. They are asking us questions about our nationality, and if we would like to go off and
travel the states with them. I look at my friend, and tell the two men that I'm from the states and I don't want to
travel. They question my friend.
He has a foreign accent, so they are
convinced that he wants to travel with them. Again, I tell them no.
