First let me share a recipe with you: Nestle Toll House Cookies These cookies take me way back to when my mom used to bake them. When she would cook them, I remember eating the butter mixture, mom use to let me until I had a stomachache. I think I finally learned when I was 95 that I could avoid an upset stomach by not eating so much cookie dough. I remember the year Ben and Jerrys came out with cookie dough ice cream. It was amazing, ice cream with cookie dough all in one! They soon went on to make brownie batter ice cream, marvelous, especially for those of us with a sweet tooth. Then I remember when the ice cream ball came out. You filled the cylinder inside with ingredients, then filled the ball with ice, and played pass on the ground, rollie pollie. It was a pretty neat invention.
As you can see, food has always been important to me. Going off on food, I decided with the help of my neighbor to create a vitamin fortified edible newspaper. Who would have thought! With hunger and malnutrition out of the way, I began to do stem cell research. It has gone far in my lifetime, but not quite to where it will cure diseases such as diabetes. I do really hope that the government will keep funding this very important research. I'm not sure if I will see cures from stem cell research, but I sure hope my children will. Oh, my little children, how proud I am of them. Two full grown men, and one very pleasant young lady. To them, I leave everything when I pass on.
