I come from afar, right next door
The Green Mountains at a distance
The most perfect autumn leaf peepers
Fresh maple syrup each season
Extreme sledding down the hiking tails
One week a winter, ice cube toes in my skates
Always enjoying the nice powder snow
Remembering there is no where else to go
In the summer on the rocks at the lakefront galore
And when the seaweed washes up, yuck
