Slicing

Most layouts are done in a grid format. This page was also done in that manner, but you may not have guessed that. I was able to make the image in Photoshop, cut it up into sections by using grid lines and making slices from the grid lines, and then saved each section individually as GIF files. I then imported the sections one by one into their own cell in the table I created in Dreamweaver based on the slices I made in Photoshop. I labeled them with names to help me remember where they were located as a whole. I set the table so I was unable to see it, and made sure the margin was set to zero. The slices were placed at top left in each cell.
