Bail.jpg (21731 bytes) Hydrogeology is the study of the interaction of groundwater and rock. In GEO 430 students learn about the occurrence and movement of groundwater, methods for assessing aquifer properties, and chemical interactions between groundwater and rock. In Fall, 2002 we will add exercises using Visual Modflow groundwater modeling software. Most employers in the environmental geology field want to hire people who have taken a hydrogeology course. Since most job opportunities are in the environmental area, don't miss out on this important course!
