This site was created to support my ai agent-oriented research project. The scope of this endeavor is to experiment with AOP (agent-oriented programming) theory. This project will be implemented using LISP, more specifically, CLOS (common lisp object system). By the very nature of this project, this site will be frequently updated. However, it is doubtful that this site will every be "finished" or "completed". But please check back often to see where we're at!

Elaboration

This project will attempt to engage agents to play the imaginary (per muggles) game of Quidditch, based on the Harry Potter series of novels by J.K. Rowlings. The initial design model of this project is to give agent status to the game balls as well as the players. Each agent's belief system will be based on it's exlusive role within the game. This will also pertain to how much cognitive abilities will be assigned to each agent. Together, the belief system and cognitive abilities, will yield an agents "personality". Currently, I have envisioned that a Quidditch team will be a set of 10 individual agents. Within that set there will be 7 distint agent "personalities".
