drawings students are able to communicate graphically
with accuracy and precision."

Background & Use
Technical Drawing and Design and Drawing
for Production are two of the seven NYS HS Technology
Education Foundation Courses.
In 1999/2000 these two courses alone totaled 1258 of
the1858 total sections of NYS foundation courses. (See
NYSED BEDS)
In addition, the general knowledge gained in this course
