RE: QUEST
2005
You and your students are invited to
participate in QUEST 2005 to be held
on Wednesday, April 21, 2004. The
deadline to submit participation requests for presentations is Monday,
February 14th.
Now is a good time to encourage your
students to present their research or creative activities at QUEST.
The numbers of students attending QUEST has steadily increased
over the years. This is because faculty have encouraged their classes to attend
by building QUEST into their syllabi for the spring semester
through assignments, extra credit options, or other ways.
Presentations may be made in the form of
oral reports of approximately 12 minutes (plus 3 minutes for questions),
posters, or displays. Other forms of
presentations, such as panels, plays, readings, recitals, and symposia will be
accepted to the extent facilities and scheduling permits.
You will be able to submit the Request
to Participate form online. Hard copies of the forms will be mailed to all
faculty and made available in your department office, the Office of Research
and Sponsored Programs in Penfield Library, or the Center for Excellence in
Learning & Teaching in 34B Lanigan Hall.
If you require additional information
about QUEST 2005, please feel free
to contact me by phone at Ext. 2875 or e-mail celt@oswego.edu .
