in an Internship? |
Smart move! The students who will jump ahead of the others after graduation will be those who have made good grades, gained experience at WTOP and WNYO, and served in several internships at media installations. One of the best ways to get your first entry-level job is to go from intern to full-timer.
BRC 498 offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn academic credit while getting a first-hand feel for what it's like to do the job in the real world marketplace. I'm here to make sure that the hiring authorities that employ people in the electronic media know about the talents of bright and promising OSU students - and the students know about potential internships.
I cover internships in radio, television, cable, audio and video production, Radio/TV sales representation firms, music recording studios, satellite programmers and distributors, production houses, and promotional and editorial content jobs for web sites and Internet service providers. That includes the full complement of networks and syndicated shows produced in New York City,
