Hello! I’m glad you’re here.
Dazzling new technologies are sparking the most revolutionary changes in the mass media since the introduction of television. Technology is transforming hardware and software in a convergence of the media from passive to interactive and fixed reception to wireless. What an exciting time to study the present and future changes in this renaissance that Pavlik calls a "mediamorphisis".
I enjoy helping students prepare for success and leadership roles in electronic media management, programming, sales, and copywriting. My perspective on the media marketplace of the future is based on forty years in radio and television management. My primary research interest is in how the existing electronic media are successfully managing their transition into the new digital marketplace . My study is being enhanced by a group of highly successful radio, television, cable, and Internet executives who serve as my professional advisory Mboard. My contacts with them keep me in touch with how some of the smartest media managers are making this transition successfully.
