The resolution for a web image is 72 dpi. Most of site's load time comes from images. Your website will be incredible slow if the image size is not reduced. We want to reduce the size of your images so that they take as few space as possible while having acceptable quality.

Web images should be in either .gif or .jpg formats. GIF images support a maximum of 256 colors. This file format is very useful for almost all images except photographs. The JPEG format is mostly used for photographic images because it can support millions of colors. PNG was created to have the main features of the GIF format. It does not support animation. It is not supported by all browsers and it takes too much space.
