Open Flash Macromedia and create a movie symbol where you will place the video. |

To import a video into Flash - File/Import/ Import Video. Select the movie clip you want to import. |

Deployment - this menu will ask you how you would like to import the video clip into Flash. Because we are working with small clips, select embed video, the 5th option. This will embed the entire movie into the Flash player. Feel free to experiment with the other settings. |

Embedding – this menu will ask you how you would like to embed the video clip. Feel free to experiment. For simplicity, place setting on embedded video, and integrated audio track. |

Encoding- allows you to set the compression, altering video quality. I often set the encoding to Flash 7 medium quality, so that the video runs smother on older Flash players. When you are done select continue and done. Enjoy your Flash video. |
