After you have captured your video footage of the Easter bunny, open up iMovie.
Create a new movie with a recognizable title and save it in your account. |

In iMovie, connect the camcorder by fire wire to the computer fire wire port. Turn on the camcorder and switch it to the play (VCR) setting. |

Switch iMovie to camcorder mode, this links the two devices.
Press import- this starts importing the video into the thumbnail window. Press stop, when you have imported the clip. Turn off the camcorder and disconnect it. Before editing, switch from camcorder mode to scissor mode. |

Grab and drag the video thumbnail to the movie time line. Now you can start editing the video clip.
To extra the audio from the clip - Advance / Extra audio. When you are done altering the video clips, save it. However, you are not done yet. |

You need to compress the movie. File / Share. Select type of compression. Each compression setting alters the video quality. Press share to start the compression process, and save the compressed movie clip. When compression is done exit iMovie. |
