General Manager

The chairperson of the Executive Board. Responsible for the overall supervision of the organization's operations and for the conduct of station members. Facilitates relations with the station and the College, Student Association, CTS, and other organizations.
Chief Engineer
Benjamin Gordon

Responsible for maintaining the condition and appearance of station facilities and equipment, training station members in the technical aspects of the station, and the lending and borrowing of station equipment for field productions.
Director of Technology
John Henry

Responsible for the operation of all computer equipment in the station as well as the station's online presence. Works with the Chief Engineer to assure proper functioning of computer equipment in the station.
Programming Director
Rob Nieman

Maintains the station's 24-hour programming schedule. Is responsible for the selection of movies and other non-station originating programming aired on the station. Works with the Production Manager to create an effective programming strategy for the station.
Traffic Director

Works with the Programming Director to create a schedule for the airing of station promos and underwriters. Keeps the log of aired programming for reference.
Production Manager

Coordinates the creation of student-produced televison programs, including crew, graphics, and paperwork. Coordinates usage of studio, broadcast equipment, and editing stations with the Chief Engineer and Director of Technology. Works in conjunction with the Chief Engineer to train crew for student productions.
News Director

The head of the News Department, in charge of appointing producers and directors for news productions, as well as talent for the news program. Responsible for the content of news-related programs.
Sports Director

Is in charge of appointing talent for sports and sports-related programming. Shall work with the Production Manager and the Chief Engineer to coordinate the sports broadcasts.
Chief Meteorologist

Coordinates and appoints the on-air weather talent and behind-the-scenes crew for the weather department. Works with the Production Manager concerning weather productions, and with the Chief Engineer concerning the weather center equipment.
Finance Director

Is in charge of all station finances and allocation of expenditures and business transactions. Works in conjunction with the finance department of the Student Association. Works with the Sales Department to enhance business communications among departments.
Sales Director

Is responsible for generating station revenue through the sale of advertising time. Determines air-time rates. Shall work with the Underwriting department to make sure customer needs are met. Works with Traffic Director to make sure the spots run in the appropriate manner.
Underwriting Director

Responsible for the production of all station and off-site underwriting. Shall work with the Sales Department to create underwriting.
Promotions Director

In charge of promoting the station, its programming, as well as any other special events. Purchases promotional items for the station. In charge of creating working relations with other organizations on a promotional basis.
Art Director

Responsible for all graphics, music, photography, and set design used to represent the station. Helps producers get music and graphics for their shows, and maintains and updates the official WTOP branding.
Staff Representative

Direct liason between general members and the Executive Board. Organizes outside activities for station members. Strives to improve overall membership and station morale. Takes minutes at the Executive Board meetings.
