OmniUpdate Forms: April 9 from 1 to 3 PM, 202 Campus Center
Learn how to create online web forms that are accessible and require mandatory fields if desired. Although knowledge of HTML would be helpful, OmniUpdate's editor includes a form functions button so you don't need to know HTML in order to create or edit a form. This workshop will combine lecture and hands-on practice.
Writing for the Web and OmniUpdate Help
Writing for the Web is unlike writing for print or other media. Tim Nekritz will help you learn the differences and how you can make your web pages user-friendly and increase the odds that they'll actually be read.
The second half of this session will be dedicated to answering questions and offering assistance with any problem areas you may have, i.e., forms, images or other issues. This workshop will combine lecture and hands-on practice.
