Embed a Slide Show on Your Web Page:
Here's an easy way to embed a Flash slide show on your web pages. All you need is a Google account and digital images.
- If you don't have a Google account, you'll need to create one at: http://www.google.com
- Go to http://picasaweb.google.com/
- Create a new album
- Upload photos to the album and create captions if you wish.
- You can embed a Flash slide show of any web album. It'll be automatically updated when you make changes to your album. Follow these steps to embed a slide show:
- On the My Photos page, click your album.
- Click Link to this album on the right-hand side.
- Click Embed Slide Show.
- Choose your slide show settings, such as image size, captions, and autoplay.
- Once you've chosen your settings, copy the resulting HTML code (Ctrl+C).
- Paste the HTML in the source code for your site (Ctrl+V).
Once the slideshow is embedded in your site, people who click your slideshow will be taken to view your album in Picasa Web Albums. See this example: http://www.oswego.edu/training/macneill/testing.html More information about embedding albums, images and slide shows from Google's Picasa is here: http://picasa.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=66969
