Reducing the Size of a Power Point File


Power Point files can become very large files. To reduce the load on our web server, we recommend you compress images in the file before uploading the file. Here's how:

  1. Open the Power Point file.
  2. To keep your original file, save as and rename the file.
  3. Right click on an image in the file.
  4. Choose Format Object.
  5. Click the "Picture" tab.
  6. Choose "Compress."
  7. Select:
    1. All pictures in Document
    2. Web Screen
    3. Compress Pictures
    4. Delete Cropped Areas
  8. Save the file.
