The Campus Center convocation center/ice arena hosts the Laker men's and women's varsity hockey teams, open skate for the college and community, intramural broomball, college figure-skating and hockey clubs, the Oswego High School boys' hockey team and the Oswego Figure Skating Club. The convocation center/ice arnea also plays host to concerts, speakers, Admission Open House events and SUNY Oswego Commencement ceremonies along with a variety of other events.
The Campus Center Auditorium has a seating capacity of 200. The Auditorium has played host to a number of events such as speakers, comedians, movies and meetings. It is considered a smart classroom and has a computer, projection screen and a sound system.
Hewitt Union Ball Room is a large venue with a stage available for use. Dinners and performances are two of the many types of events that the Ball Room hosts. Hewitt Union Ball Room has the ability to be set up in various ways, from 700 theatre style chairs to 50 round tables with chairs.
Max Ziel Gymnasium is a 3,500 seat space located in Laker Hall. The Gymnasium hosts men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, and wrestling. The venue also host concerts, antique shows and other large events.
Sheldon Hall Ballroom
Sheldon Hall Ballroom plays host to a variety of events. One of the most popular event to take place in the space is the ke-nekt Chamber Music Series concerts.
The Lab Theatre is a 42' x 46' black box space in the lower level of Tyler Hall. This performance space is used for student productions, rehearsals and small touring troupes.
Event seating in the Lab Theatre is general admission with a maximum occupancy of 138.
Opened in 1968, Charlotte Waterman Theatre has a proscenium stage and continental-style seating for 525. Please reference the chart (below) when making your seat reservations. Waterman Theatre is located in Tyler Hall.
Wheelchair Accessible Entrances
Hewitt Union: There are accessible entrances on the North, East and West sides of Hewitt Union.
Laker Hall: The North and South entrances of Laker Hall are accessible by wheelchair.
Campus Center: All entrances to the Campus Center are accessible by wheelchair.
Tyler Hall: An accessible entrance to Tyler Hall can be found at the main entrance to the building.
Sheldon Hall: An accessible entrance to Sheldon Hall is located at the North entry of the building.
