Graduate
school is a big step. Considering the financial/time obligation and
career focus required, it is not a decision you want to make lightly.
There are many factors to
consider.
BOTTOM LINE: more education = more options = more
control/mobility= more satisfaction.
But, that doesn’t mean you should automatically go. For one thing,
most graduate schools actually prefer applicants who have at least a year or
two of work experience after completion of their undergraduate degree.
And graduate school is not just an extension of your undergraduate years - they
are very
different experiences.
