First-Year Students - Discover!
The first year of college can be both exciting and stressful. SUNY Oswego has developed many ways for you to get assistance and support during this transition. A great place to start is in the Compass, located in 142 Campus Center. Along with the professional staff available to talk to you about your academics, internships, career and major exploration, there are also Compass Navigators, upperclass students who are available to talk to you about what they have learned here at Oswego.
Some of the resources available include surveys to help you discover and better understand your strengths, interests, and values, opportunities to volunteer on campus or in the community, career awareness courses, major exploration courses, and much more.
