*Kick off Session
During the Kick-Off, mentees meet their mentors and begin to deepen their understanding of leadership.
*Meetings with your mentor
Mentees will meet with their mentor three times per semester and explore the following areas:
•Learn more about the components of leadership (relationship, dynamic influence, mutual purpose, collaborator, and positive change) and learn how to apply these concepts to your involvement, work and community
•Become aware of the collaborative process of leadership
•Apply the components of leadership to your student organizations, places of employment, residential communities, teams and other communities that you participate in beyond SUNY Oswego
•Explore what leadership means to you
*Participate in the Student Involvement and Leadership Series
Mentees attend two events per semester from the Student Involvement and Leadership Series, discuss what they learn with their mentors who track their progress and attendance.
*Celebrate! All students who successfully complete the program will be recognized at the annual Student Involvement Awards Ceremony. This year's event will take place Tuesday, April 23rd at 4 pm
