Keynote Speaker

We are pleased to announce that this year's Keynote Speaker is Matt Weiller '84

Matt Weiller         Matt currently serves as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State.

                Since 1991, Matt has served as a U.S. diplomat, primarily with management responsibilities at multiple
      postings in Washington and overseas. Recent specific postings include a position as Senior Advisor for
      the Office of the Deputy Secretary of State in Washington, DC, and a position as Management Counselor
      for the U.S. Embassy in Bamako, Mali. His first responsibility, in 1991, was Entry-Level Training for the
      Foreign Service Institute in Washington, DC.

                 Prior to his work as a U.S. Diplomat, Matt held the  title of Civil Servant (Presidential Management
      Fellow) for the U.S. Information Agency in Washington, DC. From 1988 to 1991, he managed Central
      and Eastern European educational and cultural exchange programs. He also directed a book exhibit in
      East Germany during the fall of the Berlin Wall (October through December of 1989).

               A proud alumnus, Matt graduated with a BA in German from SUNY Oswego in 1984. He also went on to
      earn his Masters in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 1987, and was a German Academic
      Exchange Service (DAAD) Fellow at the University of Bonn in Germany from 1987 to 1988.
               Matt is married to Brigid Reilly Weiller, a fellow Foreign Service Officer. They have three children,
      Maureen (19), John (17) and Terence (14).
