With a competitive job market, it's important as ever for students to get the most out of their time at SUNY Oswego.  With fewer general education requirements, students have more flexibility to pick up additional majors/minors that will diversify their degree program. 

In an effort to help students make informed decisions about their major(s)/minor(s), from October 6-10th, the Compass has planned a week long Major and Career Exploration Week!  Self-assessments MUST be completed BEFORE attending so please register for the workshop following this link. All academic departments can provide the most current and up-to-date information regarding perspective and current majors in their offices about:

  • declaring a major/second major or minor(s)
  • possible career paths in those fields
  • opportunities within the majors/departments!
