Hewitt Union provides recreational, social, and cultural opportunities for
the campus community. Movies,
performances, dances, meetings, lectures, conferences, banquets and
convocations are some of the many activities hosted in Hewitt Union. It is home to the College BookStore, the Hewitt Union ballroom, two ATMs and spaces that may be reserved through the Office of Campus Life.
Hewitt’s History
Hewitt Union was completed in 1967 and is named after Jesse Merle
Hewitt (1898–1918). Hewitt was a SUNY Oswego student who was killed in France
during World War I.
