Lindsey Adrian
Lindsey is a Human Development major with a minor in Gerontology and is a member of the class of 2014! Lindsey comes from a small town outside of Albany, NY and her future plans include working with people in some form of counseling or as an activities director. She's super excited to be involved in the Counseling Center Peer Educator program.
Talia Berk
Talia is a senior double major in Adolescence Education and English. She is considering earning a Master's Degree in Counseling, specifically working in the area of bereavement. In her free time, Talia loves being with her friends and family, cooking, scrapbooking, writing, photography, and teaching Zumba at the fitness centers on campus (check out her schedule!). She is very excited to be a part of the first-ever Counseling Center Peer Educators and can't wait to get the word out to everyone on campus!
Suzanne Campbell
Suzanne is a 20 year old junior majoring in Philosophy-Psychology with a Public Justice minor. She is currently the Treasurer of the Active Minds chapter on campus and loves to be a part of important causes on this campus. Suzanne likes traveling, the outdoors, art, photography, astrology, interior design, cooking, concerts, astronomy, and classic rock.
Ashley Freeze
Ashley is a junior majoring in Adolescence Education. She is also interested in Psychology and has been interning for the Counseling & Psychological Service Department on campus. In addition to her internship, Ashley serves as President of the SUNY Oswego chapter of the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE). She is a Resident Assistant, TOC Intern and most recently was awarded a McNair Scholarship. Ashley also loves to sing and dance and two of her favorite TV programs are Glee and Greys Anatomy.
Melanie Hoffman
Melanie is a senior Human Development major from Long Island, NY. Busy is Mel's middle name - she is a psychology department peer advisor, First Year Peer Advisor, and a Teaching Assistant, as well as the Co-President of Active Minds. Melanie hopes to earn her M.S in Mental Health Counseling in order to work with struggling adolescents. When not stressing over school, Melanie loves seeing her friends, walking, yoga, writing, her dogs, listening to music of (almost) any kind, fantasizing over owning teacup pigs, and astrology (she's a Pisces!).
Kathleen Kratz
Kathleen is currently a sophomore Philosophy-Psychology major. Kathleen is a very peaceful person who enjoys making new friends and being outdoors in the sunshine. Kathleen's goal is to become a School Psychologist or a Social Worker after earning her graduate degree. She is involved with Active Minds and Colleges Against Cancer. Kathleen hopes these years at SUNY Oswego are happy ones and that she learns as much as she can in order to make a difference!
Chelsea Mahoney
Chelsea is a senior Political Science and Global Studies major with a minor in Creative Writing. She loves to read, long car rides with good conversation, book stores, record stores, and laughing until she cries. Chelsea also enjoys writing and people watching. Her favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut and her favorite movie changes daily (but she LOVES Mad Men). She also is known to lose her car keys and wallet....often...
