Skate at Your Own Risk
Participants of SUNY Oswego's Open Skate program acknowledge that skating is a potentially hazardous activity that presents an inherent risk of serious personal injury. Skaters participate at the own risk, and agree to accept responsibility for their own health & safety while at the facility. Participants who become injured or need assistance during an Open Skate session should seek help from an on-ice Skate Guard or a Skate Shop Attendant.
Open Skate Rules
To help promote a positive and safe environment during Open Skate sessions, Skate Shop personnel diligently enforce rules of behavior for all participants. Those who appear unwilling or unable to comply with these rules will be required to leave the ice for the remainder of the Open Skate session. Participants who have concerns about the behavior of another skater should contact a Skate Shop staff member without delay.
